Fakebusters: Tiger Eye

Lets have the first fakebusters of the new year!

This, rather cringingly, is a downright dreadful fake. This is what happens when you take perfectly good, normal tiger eye and dye it an artificial colour. Tiger eye is not pink.

Nor is it this particular tone of blue.

Nor is it this tone of green.​

I think you get the gist. All of these have been artificially enhanced by dye, making them a fake. These were all sold as natural colours on a popular auction website. 

These are all the "natural" colours of tiger eye, however they are often heat enhanced.
