Crystal Photography: Clear Quartz Morphology

This gorgeous clear quartz cluster is a stunning example of the longer and thinner needle quartz, with plenty of rainbows and a great example of where the quartz has grown around a weaker crystal or matrix, which has now mostly fallen away, leaving a large hole on the bottom right hand corner.

There is also some pretty etching and a little hematite too!
