A Witching Hour Prayer

Goddess give me strength,

For I cannot face the day,

To raise my head again,

And join again the fray.

Goddess I am tired,

Fatigued by this world,

My heart now so heavy,

My broken wings furled.

Goddess I am scared,

Just one witch alone,

But here I defend,

Every animal, plant and stone.
