Fakebusters: Moldavite 1

This beast is the reason that people are now contacting me looking for "cheap" moldavite. In certain countries they are creating artificial moldavite that actually doesn't look too bad! The pieces on the top have actually been created from green bottle glass and kinetic sand! This is the artificial moldavite sold online and even in a few stores. The picture on the bottom is a real piece of moldavite taken in the supplier today. The real moldavite will often be more jagged, buuuuuut sometimes it may be smooth, thus why it is so confusing. If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!
